Esrille was established in 2010 in Kyoto by Shiki Okasaka. Before he started Esrille, he was a W3C working group member at Google, where he joined the standardization process of HTML, Web IDL, WebGL and other specifications. Before he joined Google, he was a group manager at Nintendo, where he designed and developed operating systems for game consoles.
